We created a dashboard with 16 Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) using Tableau Online to give the Customer's CEO, CFO, and others visibility into metrics in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, and overall Shared Services. The monthly reports are generated from several different data sources. Each prior monthly set of 16 KPIs is available via dropdown menu on the dashboard.
Example KPIs being tracked are Average Days Delinquent (in payment of invoices), Collection Effectiveness Index (CEI), Percentage of Cash Collections to Budgeted, Percentage of Total Invoices Manually Processed, and Percentage of Vendors Paid Electronically.
Since 2016, we have helped a Customer analyze Concur travel and entertainment (T&E) expense data, totaling $8+ million in annual spend. We established a monthly reporting process that includes automation of Concur data imports and analysis using ACL, as well as creation of several interactive Tableau dashboards. Reporting includes: spend by category/employee, analysis of rounded transaction amounts, analysis of approximately 100 keywords provided by the Customer, comparisons of spend versus sales for each branch and region, and possible duplicate spend among purchasing card and non-purchasing card transactions by employee.
For a $2 billion distribution and manufacturing company in the Atlanta, GA area, we updated ACL scripts that analyzed bank statement data. The Customer wanted to convert current manual Excel spreadsheet processes and ACL AX Dashboard reports to a more efficient process that gave better visibility to the numbers. We created new visualization dashboards using Tableau Online to meet this need and help the Customer quickly gain insight into non-agreed fees, overcharges, and other opportunities for cost reduction.
